Our good friends at Share Our Strength have announced the fifth season of their ‘A Tasteful Pursuit’ series! The celebrity chef dinner tour officially launches on January 26th at the Lever House in New York City, while other tour stops include Los Angeles, Washington DC, Nashville, Palm Beach, and Cleveland.

The founding chef of A Tasteful Pursuit, and executive chef of the Lever House, Bradford Thompson, who has been selected as the 2009 spokesperson for the program, will be participating in events throughout the year. The 2009 dinner series also features top chefs from around the nation, including Daniel Boulud, Charlie Palmer, Michael Symon, Stephan Pyles, and Jacques Torres.

“It is an honor to serve as a national spokesperson for Share Our Strength,” Thompson said, “As chefs, we have the ability to help the more than 12 million children at risk of hunger. In the world’s wealthiest nation, kids should not have to worry about when and where their next meal will come.”

Since 2005, the tour has raised more than $1.5 million to support Share Our Strength’s work to end childhood hunger in America, and helped raise awareness. To learn more about the dinner series, check out A Tasteful Pursuit.
