Are You A ‘Hot Chef’?

The National Restaurant Association announced their ‘Hot Chef’ competition this week, in collaboration with viral media giant, YouTube.com. According to the article over at Restaurant News Resource, hot chefs everywhere may apply, as long as your cooking demonstration submission meets the required criteria.

“Anyone interested in becoming the “Hot Chef” for NRA Show 2008 should submit an original video of themselves…by May 7, 2008. Each video should be no longer than two minutes and must include one food item and one alcohol item (as an ingredient or as a pairing with a dish) from the Association’s What’s Hot… What’s Not chef survey…”

You can submit your “Hot Chef” videos here. If you have the hot stuff to win, you’ll be whisked away to the The Windy City to give a live 60-minute demonstration at the National Restaurant Association show on Saturday, May 17, 2008 – as well as having your winning video featured on the NRA website.

And remember – you can’t win if you drink the alcoholic item.
