In the latest campaign from Vienna Tourism – #ViennaFunFacts – we get an underground tour of sorts through the camera lens of host, Pippilotta, a view of the unknowns, the exotics, the curious corners of the Austrian city. We see the cocaine syringe belonging to the troubled Empress Elizabeth now displayed in the Sisi Museum. Rooftop beehives hidden by heights. An unusual use of artwork by contemporary artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
Fancy yourself a Vienna-phile? Get in on this unusual view of the city by submitting your #ViennaFunFacts on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube, or through funfacts.vienna.info. Connect with other #ViennaFunFacts entries and rate your favorites. The most creative submissions, as selected by Vienna experts Harald Havas and Stadtbekannt, will be rewarded for their efforts, including books, cameras, and a grand prize trip to Vienna. The winning submission will also be included in the tourism group’s next video.
